Thank you for shopping at Bishop Fuller Inc. We take pride in delivering quality historical and inspirational literature. Because we primarily sell books, our refund and return terms are tailored specifically for book purchases.
Overview
Our return policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or replacement.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused
- In the same condition that you received it
- In its original packaging
A receipt or proof of purchase is required to complete your return.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Non-Returnable Items
Because of the nature of publishing and digital distribution, the following items are non-returnable:
- Digital or downloadable book products (PDF/eBook versions of Ten Years From Slavery)
- Gift cards
- Any book returned more than 30 days after delivery
Damaged or Incorrect Books (Our Guarantee)
We stand behind the quality of our printed book.
If your copy of Ten Years From Slavery arrives:
- Damaged
- Defective
- Misprinted
- Or you receive the wrong item
We will gladly replace the book at no cost.
To request a replacement, email us within 7 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the damaged or incorrect item

Partial Refunds (if applicable)
Partial refunds may be granted in certain situations:
- Books with obvious signs of use
- Books not returned in original condition
- Books damaged for reasons not due to our error
Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to notify you of:
- Receipt of your returned item
- Approval or rejection of your refund
If approved, your refund will be processed and applied to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card company (processing time may vary).
- Contact your bank.

Sale Items
Only regular-priced items may be refunded.
Sale or promotional items are non-refundable.
Exchanges
We only replace books if they are defective or damaged.
To request an exchange for the same item, email:

Return instructions will be provided after your request is approved.
Gifts
If the book was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you:
- You will receive a gift credit for the value of your return.
If the gift was shipped to the purchaser first:
- The refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for paying return shipping costs unless the book arrived damaged or incorrect.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
For higher-value returns, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
